To broaden the visualization of future user interest and activity, the method leverages knowledge-sharing across Meta's various interfaces (e.g., News Feed, Stories, Reels).
The launch of Meta's Twitter competitor, Barcelona, is getting closer, with selected creators already being trained on how Instagram's text-based app will work. The new app is simply a stripped-down version of Twitter that is more akin to a chat-based service.
Meta has updated their Ray-Ban Stories with new content. Ray-Ban Stories, their flagship smart glasses product, was created and built in collaboration with EssilorLuxottica to mix form and function, allowing you to create original content on the fly while remaining present at the moment. Smoother Phone Integration, Faster Voice Interactions, Smarter Voice Interactions, and Meta Accounts are among the new features.
Social media updates for LinkedIn
LinkedIn has just added additional topic and post prompts to Analytics and Tools to assist creators in developing their in-app presence. Over the previous few months, this program has been rolled out to users that have Creator Mode enabled.
LinkedIn is developing a new tool that would add confirmed ID components from a company to job postings. They will soon begin to publish job post verifications, displaying verifiable information about a job poster or their organization. Verifications on job ads indicate that the information has been validated as real by the job poster, LinkedIn, or one of their partners.
LinkedIn has announced five new changes to its Sales Navigator to assist sellers in identifying genuine sales prospects and potentials. The updates are as follows:

2. The new Product Category Intent feature shows you who is potentially exploring your category on LinkedIn.
3. Sales Navigator's search tool allows you to sift through LinkedIn to discover the precise correct person to contact.

5. CRM Auto-Save functionality, which allows you to manage your book of business by manually adding accounts to Sales Navigator's My CRM Accounts list.
Social media updates for Facebook
1. Discount codes are automatically applied. So far, this feature is available in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and India.
2. Ads for dynamic leads. You may now create question flows that alter subsequent questions based on user responses, allowing for better segmentation.
3. Overlay Instant Forms within your Facebook's in-app browser.
You may also add a lead generation form to your website that links to the CTA button on your Facebook page if you're using Facebook's new page experience.
New instructions and resources have been added to Facebook's Professional Dashboard, which is intended to assist creators in optimizing their performance on Facebook in particular. The Professional Dashboard is accessible to users who have Professional Mode enabled or who have migrated to the new Pages experience, and it serves as a hub for extensive audience metrics, additional engagement options (such as badges and invites), and ad management.
Social media updates for Instagram
Instagram has added a new tool to its one-to-many messaging function, Broadcast Channels, which allows channel owners to invite other participants as guests to join their chat channel for a conversation. The succeeding conversation will then be shared with all channel subscribers.
Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri introduced the ability to add GIFs in Instagram comments during a Broadcast Channels talk with Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg. As a result, you can now search for and share Giphy GIFs in the comment thread, giving you another option for responding to comments on Instagram.
For the first time, the Instagram Graph API allows third-party developers to enable companies to publish up to 25 single pictures, videos, reels (i.e., single media posts), or posts containing several photographs and videos (carousel posts) per day utilizing third-party developer platforms. This update will be accessible for the current Graph API version, v16.0, as well as all previous versions.
Social media updates for Pinterest
Pinterest has increased its diversification for three separate surfaces: Search, Related Products, and New User Homefeed. They have developed and deployed scalable diversification algorithms that use a visual skin tone signal to assist the portrayal of a wide range of skin tones in fashion recommendations on the Related Products interface.
With this new update, Pinterest will consolidate all of the features that Pinners and content creators have come to appreciate into a single, straightforward format – Pins. Pinterest users will now have access to capabilities previously reserved for specific Pin formats or users with a business account, such as links, post-publish editing, and adjustable aspect ratios. All content providers will now be able to add expressive features to their Pins, such as music, text overlay, and stickers.
Social media updates for Twitter
Twitter has partnered with eToro to expand its $Cashtags feature to provide real-time pricing for a broader selection of stocks, bitcoin, and other digital assets. You may also go to the eToro portal and find out more about the asset and possibly invest.
With Twitter's recent update, you can now search for intriguing lists based on your focus keywords by going to the 'Lists' tab on the web version of the app. Hence, if you're interested in a certain topic, you can now join Twitter lists, which may help you locate new folks to follow or add more depth to your Twitter experience.
Subscribers to Twitter Blue can now share more content with their followers. On twitter.com and Twitter for iOS, they can upload videos up to 2 hours long (1080p), and on Android, they can upload videos up to 10 minutes long. If you don't have a Twitter Blue account, you can still upload flicks up to 140 seconds long on any platform.
Social media updates for TikTok
TikTok has introduced a new music search portal. This will assist creators in discovering new music tracks from trending upcoming musicians.
The governor of Montana has issued a ban on TikTok in Montana "to protect Montanans' personal and private data from the Chinese Communist Party," making Montana the first state to do so. The contentious ordinance represents the most significant step yet taken by a state government to restrict TikTok due to perceived security concerns, and it comes as some federal MPs have advocated for a countrywide ban on TikTok.
To preserve their business and the hundreds of thousands of TikTok users in Montana, TikTok is appealing Montana's illegal prohibition. They believe their legal challenge will be successful because of an extremely strong set of precedents and facts.
Social media updates for Reddit
In keeping with the goal of making Reddit more user-friendly, Redditors can now swiftly and easily share Reddit material they enjoy on other social sites without jeopardizing their Reddit identity. Users can share content directly from Reddit to Instagram Stories without needing to screenshot or download it first. Wonderful news!
Reddit is testing a new way to interact within subreddits - chat channels. Chat channels are designated areas within a subreddit for people to communicate, ask questions, or just chill out. This looks like a relaunch of some sort because Reddit did something similar in 2018 with Chat Rooms, which also allowed users to interact in real-time.
Social media updates for Snapchat
Despite the fact that Snapchat has previously provided nail polish try-on experiences, it has recently partnered with OPI to deliver a new, better systematic procedure that is more responsive, more realistic and enables new methods to exhibit manicure products via AR on the app. Brands may precisely add textures and designs or track 2D color to a user's particular nail with Nails Segmentation, offering a seamless try-on experience for the consumer. It is also working with Supergoop on an AR try-on Lens that allows you to apply four Lipshade hues to determine what looks best on you without ever entering a store.
Snapchat has accomplished an important level of over 200 million monthly active Snapchatters in India, one of the company's fastest-growing regions worldwide. This rise follows the restriction of TikTok in India, which boosted the growth of other social media platforms in the country, with Snapchat being one of the biggest beneficiaries.
To assist advertisers in tapping into Stories with a new 'First Story' service, Snap's new feature will now help ad partners to ensure that their ad is the first to appear between friend Stories in the app every day. According to Snap, this premium placement option has the ability to reach more than 50 million people and will assist in raising visibility for important initiatives in the app.
Social media updates for WhatsApp
WhatsApp has launched another useful feature update, allowing users to amend sent messages in the app for a limited time after pressing the 'Send' button. Edited messages will have the word 'edited' next to them, so others you're addressing are aware of the change without seeing the edit history. Your messages and the adjustments you make, like all personal messages, media, and calls, are safeguarded by end-to-end encryption.
WhatsApp has introduced a new privacy feature called 'Chat Lock,' which allows users to transfer private messages out of their main inbox and into their own password-protected space within the application. Locking a chat thread removes it from the inbox and places it in its own folder that can only be viewed with your device password or biometric, such as a fingerprint. It also hides the contents of the chat in alerts automatically.
Singapore businesses may now collect payments directly in WhatsApp chats thanks to a new relationship with Stripe, an electronic payment platform for enterprises. The new functionality, which is based on Stripe Connect and Stripe Checkout, allows Singapore customers and businesses to buy and sell straight within WhatsApp without having to visit a website, open another app, or pay in person.
Social media updates for YouTube
YouTube Analytics has been upgraded in areas such as Product Tagging, restructured YTA Revenue Page, Super Thanks Decoration, and Shorts Scrubber!
YouTube is abandoning the Stories format in June so as to focus on Shorts and Community Posts, which are gaining appeal as interaction options. To capitalize on the Stories craze (which was spurred by Snapchat), YouTube Stories attempted to provide a similar full-screen interaction option, as well as more opportunities for artists to connect, but it never really gained ground and was never fully deployed to all users.
Similar to other social networking apps, YouTube is expanding access to its Community Posts feature, which is a text-based way to keep your fans informed of developments. This will give all creators another way to communicate with their YouTube audience.
