She attained her undergraduate degree in Mass Communications, Broadcast Journalism from Virginia Commonwealth University and completed her Master of Management degree from the University of Phoenix. She has over 14 years of experience with public relations and marketing with companies small and large, including CNN, Cartoon Network, Black Bride Magazine, Church's Chicken, Sutter Home Wines, and more. Beyond her agency, she is a mother, daughter, friend, and diversity champion committed to bringing representation and access to the forefront of business.
Gwen Chambers
BlacQuity's executive director, Gwen Chamber, has more than 20 years of experience helping individuals improve their lives. She draws on her experience in marketing to create programs to help others.
With her focus on entrepreneurship, Gwen has been able to utilize her Marketing/Management degree from the University of South Carolina. As a regional sales and marketing leader at Newell Rubbermaid, RJ Reynolds Tobacco, and Bluffton Self Help, she has also created sales plans over $1.2 million in assets and community impact engagement funds of over $500k, garnering some recognition. Traveling and spending time with her two sons and husband are Gwen's favorite things to do when she's not at Blacquity.
